COURSE OVERVIEW
Microsoft Power BI is a powerful business intelligence and data visualisation platform that enables organisations to transform raw data into meaningful insights, interactive dashboards and management reports. This practical training programme is designed to equip participants with the essential skills required to import, clean, transform, analyse and visualise data using Microsoft Power BI. Participants will learn through hands-on exercises and will develop interactive dashboards that can be used for management reporting, sales analysis, operational monitoring, financial reporting, project tracking and other business applications. The course is suitable for participants with little or no prior Power BI experience.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the fundamentals of Business Intelligence and Power BI.
- Navigate the Power BI Desktop interface.
- Import data from different data sources.
- Clean and transform data using Power Query.
- Build relationships between multiple data tables.
- Understand basic data modelling concepts.
- Create calculated columns and measures.
- Apply basic DAX formulas.
- Build interactive charts and visualisations.
- Create KPI cards and management dashboards.
- Use slicers, filters and drill-down functions.
- Design professional and user-friendly dashboards.
- Publish Power BI reports for sharing and collaboration.

Is EMNES Event’s training HRD Corp claimable?
Yes. Redefine Learning Asia is an HRD Corp registered training provider, and every programme is scoped to be claimable under SBL-Khas from the start — certified trainers, documented learning outcomes, minimum hours, and claim-ready paperwork.
How many people can our programme accommodate?
Between 10 and 500 participants depending on format. Outdoor team building handles up to 500, indoor up to 200, virtual up to 300, and classroom soft skills programmes run best at 15 to 30 participants.
How far in advance should a company book?
Three to four weeks minimum if you intend to claim. Since 15 June 2026 the HRD Corp grant must be approved — not merely submitted — at least 14 calendar days before training starts, and you need buffer in case HRD Corp raises a query, which must be answered within 5 calendar days.
Are you near public transport?
Very. There is a bus stop a few doors up and a MRT station is about 7 minutes gentle walk away.
